The role of Sales and Logistics co-ordinator is seen as a critical one that will work across the business to meet and exceed customer expectation.
In this role you will co-ordinate across Sales, Production, and logistics (the end – to – end) by forecasting and setting the production schedule based off customer orders. You will also manage inventory and organise the logistics of storage and shipping to market. You will be initially supported by the incumbent before moving to reporting to the GM of Operations.
Your background therefore will have come from Process manufacturing, preferably in the Food, Meat or Dairy processing sectors where you have an understanding for food safety and compliance and consideration for date sensitive product. Given that this role is pivotal, your attention to detail and communication capability in both written and verbal format will be exceptional. This will be supported by sound capability in process and systems, a high degree of accuracy, timely report writing and strong Excel Spreadsheeting skills. All this implies that your ability to plan, schedule and prioritise within a responsive and dynamic environment identifies you as someone able to flex with the requirements of the business and customer demands.
