An exciting and challenging new role has emerged within a privately owned, Christchurch based company. It is a long established Digital Print Company, specialising in all types of printed media. Driven by the owners, the company has clear growth strategies and exciting new product initiatives.
They are committed to excellence and have a policy of continual upgrading of their digital print equipment to ensure they deliver the highest quality products and service, every time! In Digital Print, they are a prominent and growing force in the market.
Under the leadership of the owners the company is experiencing continued strong growth and they have recognised there is a need to bring in a full-time business development specialist to assist them. Working closely with the owners, this newly created role will focus on targeting and attracting new clients, developing strong partnerships with clients in an industry where changing technology provides continual opportunity for new services.
What we are looking is a person with the hunger and drive to seize the opportunity to take control of your territory and help continue to grow this company. To make the desired impact, you need to be fast thinking and have great initiative. Often clients will need your help in shaping and identifying the right solution for them, so your style in fronting clients and managing the sales process will need to be highly consultative. And since the best solution will often involve some level of customisation, you'll need to be able to think conceptually, and communicate your vision both internally and externally.
- Successful sales track record, ideally within the Print or a closely related industry.
- A history of securing long term deals and strategic partnerships to drive a business forward
- A strong network of business contacts in the Christchurch and wider South Island regions.
- Proven ability to build positive professional relationships with clients
- Excellent presentation and communication skills which instil respect
- You should be and have well developed inter-personal and relationship skills.
Although our preference is for a person with a print background we welcome applications from other industries where the sales focus has involved a high degree of regular onsite client contact
