The Role:

Combining design skills, construction awareness, and a passion for continous improvement, the person in this role will take ownership of three key elements:

  • Design of building elements from supplied client briefs
  • Production of full CAD documentation
  • Issuing of PS 1 Producer Statements

Once on board and familiar with the above, the company is committed to growing both you and the business and will be developing your role beyond the CAD system to encompass:

  • Client Liasion (Architects, Contractors, Engineers)
  • Responding to end user queries (sub-contractors, builders)
  • Development of more and better products to expand the range.

Requirements:

This role required a genuine interest in construction, design and systems and we would be open to candidates with a minimum of 2 - 3 years experience in CAD, Engineering, Architecture or others similar fields in New Zealand ()or similar).  Excellent and confident communications are a must and of course, you must be available for interview in Christchurch (initial interviews may be remotely using Skype/Zoom/phone).

  • Genuine interest and exposure to construction (hands-on or design)
  • Good CAD skills (AutoCAD, Revit, Solidworks, Inventor etc.)
  • Proven eye for detail in delivery & development of systems
