Expansion of the project management team means that, with bigger projects and more people, this firm needs a solid, cool, calm and collected person to make sure the t's are crossed and the i's dotted, take ownership of the project administration and enjoy seeing the results.The Role:
This role sits alongside Project Managers and involves taking ownership of the project administration across a few key projects. This means you get to action monitor and manage the processes driving the projects - the contracts, schedules, workflows, meetings approvals and confirmations.
This is a "design and project management" environment and this role covers the processes from client acquisition through proposals, concepts, tenders, contracts and into the delivery side - RFI's CI's stage payments and consent documentation will be under your watchful eye.
You will support the team and maintain order and accuracy throughout.You:
You will be an accomplished Project Administrator with experience in a construction or professional design consultancy work environment. You will very likely have familiarity with:
- Construction tenders and contracts
- Construction documentation (CI's RFQ's, RFIs etc. variations etc.)
- Design drawings and documentation
- Project control meetings and procedures
- Quality aassurance processes
- Financial monitoring and forecasting reports
As you may guess, this is a busy, buzzing place to work with plenty going on to light up your week. There is pace, pressure and of course rewards for the right person.
You will need to be an exceptionally well organised person, able to hit the proverbial running on contracts and project administration. Any experience you have in a New Zealand or Australian engineering or architectural design environment will give you extra brownie points and likely make this a great fit.
